Competing in both the Trofeo 296 and Coppa Shell 296 championships, MG1 Motorsports fielded entries in every class—Pirelli, Pirelli-AM, Coppa Shell, and Coppa Shell-AM—securing standout results throughout.

Massimo Perrina emerged as a breakout star in his debut season in Trofeo 296 in the Pirelli class. Demonstrating remarkable pace and skilled racecraft, he captured seven race wins, ten pole positions, and eight fastest laps, accumulating 407 points and building a 44-point lead in the championship standings heading into Mugello.

Making the leap from Pirelli-AM to Pirelli, Brian Cook scored two podium finishes despite running a partial season, while Esteban Beckmann, also on a partial campaign in Pirelli-AM, secured a pole position and fastest lap.

In Coppa Shell 296, Yahn Bernier remains firmly in contention for the championship crown. With four wins, six podiums, five pole positions, and one fastest lap, Bernier is only 26 points behind the leader ahead of the Finali Mondiali.

Meanwhile, in Coppa Shell-AM, Tom Petramalo made an immediate impact after joining the competition halfway through the year, scoring a podium on debut and capping off the season with a pole position at the Laguna Seca finale.

With its North American campaign concluded, MG1 Motorsports now turns its attention to the world stage. The team will join Ferrari Challenge competitors from across the globe at the Finali Mondiali at Mugello, held from October 21st to 26th, 2025.
